This course assumes no previous Linux knowledge but it does require other operating system and interface skills that a regular user encounters such as logging into a Graphical Interface (GUI), running applications from the GUI, downloading files from the Internet and installing software packages on your selected system.
There are no pre-requisites for this exam.
The demo and lab environment is virtual machine–based. Learners should have a system with one of the following environments installed: VMware Player or Workstation, Oracle VirtualBox, or KVM, along with the necessary skills to create a virtual machine on the chosen hypervisor. The system should have a minimum of 4GB RAM and 20GB of free disk space, and learners will use the Ubuntu 20.04 installation image, with the download link and installation instructions provided as part of the course.
This LFCA exam is an online, proctored, multiple-choice exam. Candidates are allowed 90 minutes to complete Multiple Choice Exams. A score of 75% or above must be earned to pass the Multiple Choice Exam.
