The CBAP exam consists of 120 multiple choice questions and must be completed within 3.5 hours.
Yes, it is possible to take the CBAP exam online. The option of CBAP exam remote online proctoring is also available. This new option provides flexibility to take the exam online anywhere in the world. You can also go with the test center option if you wish.
You need to renew your CBAP certification every three years to maintain active status. This renewal requires earning 60 Continuing Development Units (CDUs) within the three-year cycle and paying a recertification fee, which is $85 for IIBA members and $120 for non-members. The three-year validity period begins from the date the certification is awarded.
After CBAP®, professionals can pursue advanced IIBA certifications such as AAC for Agile environments, CBDA for data analytics or CCA for cybersecurity-focused roles.
