  1. A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree, or global equivalent) with at least 36 months of project risk management experience, or a four-year degree (bachelor’s or global equivalent) with 24 months of project risk management experience.
  2. 40 hours of formal education in project risk management - this Grasp Skill will help you with this requirement.
  3. Active PMI membership is recommended but not required.

  4. Questions cover risk strategy, risk identification, qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, risk response planning, and monitoring and reporting.
  5. Passing the exam grants the PMI-RMP® designation, demonstrating expertise in project risk management.
  6. Exam fee: PMI members - USD 520; Non-members - USD 670.
  7. Certification is valid for 3 years and requires 30 PDUs (Professional Development Units) in risk management for renewal.
